Not Good Enough

You see the perfect brother

Next to the mistake of a girl

He's so perfect

But she can't do anything right

She cries out to the night sky,

"Fix me, just fix me!"

And nobody answers

Nobody hears

Those who compare the two

Will never understand

They just don't get it

They don't even try

What it's like to be in her brother's shadow

What it's like to have no one understand

What it's like to live with that pain

What it's like to not be good enough

But I understand

At least, I try

I know I understand enough

I know why she's hurting

But the truth is, she is good enough
