✺ 40s STARTERS ✺

bucky comes across your muse while on his
way to steve's apartment. he decides to
take a little detour and talk to you sense,
for some reason, you intrigue him.

bucky sees that your bag/satchel is being
stolen and immediately goes after the thief.
he retrieves the stolen item and brings it
back to you, a smirk placed on his lips.

you've gone to the local grocery store to
pick up some food. when you go to buy
your groceries, you realize that you
forgot your wallet! luckily for you,
bucky happened to be the lad behind
you and pays for your expenses.

bucky went out to the bar with a couple
of friends and got awfully drunk. all his
friends had left or got with someone,
but he's had his eye on you for a while.
he decided to be a gentleman, and
offered to buy you a drink.

it was the night before bucky left to join
the 107th. he was completely distraught
seeing as he wanted nothing to do with
this war, but ended up drafted anyway.
he's walking the streets, the damned letter
in hand, uniform on, as he rereads and
reread over the paper. he wasn't paying
attention and ends up running into you.
