kimberlee sat on her bus as the the rain poured down after their show in chicago, it was so tough putting on a good show when her heart felt like shit. it had been a full week and a few days since lily showed up and it felt like she no longer had a boyfriend, and while she tried to be the bigger person and let it be since they're such good friends she just couldn't sit here much longer and act like it wasn't bothering her.

plus she missed her boyfriend.

he's a mess but he was her mess and she'd learned to love that more than anything and to cherish it while she had it, "whatcha back here doing?" austin peeked his head into the back lounge

kimberlee smiled sitting up showing him her songbook and pointing at the guitar, "ohhhh you're writing can i get a tease please" he asked plopping down next to the girl

"it's not finished i kind've want to perform it in boston we gotta go out with bang eh" kimberlee read over the lyrics silently as austin smiled at her

"well you know anything you touch turns to gold so i know it'll be amazing" austin patter her shoulders

"aye aye what y'all doing back here the party is in the front" edwin peeked his head in next

"i'm just writing while i still have some inspiration" kimberlee said smiling at the lyrics that she had spent most her free time  writing
