The boy sat on his bed, sobbing in his best friend's arms. He had finally told Renjun what was going on after yellow had started to fade.
Jaemin had been too scared to look up possible reasons for why he could be going color-blind. So, Renjun had done it for him. One disease stuck out, one that fit Jaemin's situation perfectly. Although finding that explanation plagued him with a great deal of anxiety.
If he didn't tell Jeno his true feelings for him soon, all the colors would turn grey and he would start to go blind. Permanently.
❝ Everything is turning grey. I don't want to go blind, Renjun. ❞
Jaemin sobbed and hugged the other tighter. He had already lost the ability to see the warm colors, he didn't want to loose the cool colors as well.
❝ It's all going to be okay. You just have to tell Jeno you like him. ❞
Renjun rubbed his back, trying to comfort the sobbing boy. Jaemin couldn't help but let out even more tears onto the other's shoulder.
It wasn't that simple to Jaemin. He was too scared to be rejected. Too scared that the boy would tell him that he didn't like him or worse, laugh in his face. He didn't want his heart to get broken.
