This is a short chapter, I didn't really know what to write, but I had to get something out.
————————"Kagome You're back!" Shippo says.
"Yeah, I guess I am..." I say. "Where's the others?"
"They're with Kaede at Kikyo's shrine."
Oh... I see...
Suddenly, I remembered the treats for Shippo, so I handed the little fox a lollipop.
"!!! Thanks Kagome!" He joyously exclaimed, bouncing off to Kirara.
I walk inside Kaede's hut, and sit down.
'Even now, when I come back after four months, he is staying away. He always comes to the well as soon as he detects my scent... But whenever there are the tense feelings because of Kikyo, he stops. So he is still worked up over it.'
I sigh of exhaustion, and lay down. May as well get sleep, I came here right after training was completed, after all.
————
"Kagome, you smell different." Inuyasha says, as he takes in her scent. "You smell kind of like... Sesshomaru, but not..." He wrinkles his nose at the thought of his brother.
"I've been in the modern times, Inuyasha."
"I know, but that's what's pissing me off, I don't know why you reek of this scent." He says, looking around. Suddenly, he sees Kagome's sword and was bewildered.
"Hey Kagome, where did you get this sword?" He says, pointing at it.
" I got it when I was training." I said, bluntly.
"Is that what you were doing all this time? You could have trained here you know."
"No Inuyasha, I couldn't have. I got special training, and I needed the time away." I reply with a tinge of anger.
"But that put off shard hunting! We have wasted so much time. Naraku is closer to completing the Sacred Jewel and we haven't gotten any more progress." Inuyasha says.
Now, fuming, I say "Inuyasha, you couldn't possibly understand! I didn't either until I started. There will be so much more trouble in the future, and if you cared so much about shard hunting, ask Kikyo to help you!! The fact that I am basically just a shard locator is appalling!"
I walk away to cool myself, but he starts walking towards me too.
"Inuyasha! Don't follow me! Sit!" I shout, walking away.

Sesshomaru's View
————I watch Rin play around by the flowers, while Jaken chastises her for nothing, and suddenly I catch the priestesses scent. She's back, from wherever she went. There's a bit of joy in her scent. Is she happy to be back?
Whatever it is, I try to put it in the back of my mind. I need to find Naraku. He has caused enough trouble.
The attempt was futile, as the mind keeps going back to the priestess. The scent is overpowering, even though they were quite the distance away. This time, with each inhale, her scent fills with more anger. It must be the half breed.
Hn. He's good for nothing. He only ever causes calamity.
I stand, and that gains the attention of Jaken and Rin. "We are leaving."
We are going to the priestess. Where did she go, and why did her scent just stop like that? it was as if she hadn't existed at all, the only thing that proved she has been there, is the little bit of scent lingering. If she could just disappear like that, would Naraku be able to?
