Gabby hung up, she and Matt were over about 2 minutes
GABBY: Let's get those trousers off you
BETH: Has the baby gone?
GABBY: There's a lot of blood, I don't know
BETH: I haven't done anything wrong
Kelly was getting upset because Beth was
KELLY: Hey, you'll both be okay!
GABBY: Let's get to the bathroom
Beth had a quick shower and wrapped a towel around herself
GABBY: Still got pain in your stomach|?
BETH: Yeah
GABBY: You still bleeding?
BETH: I was in the shower
GABBY: We need to get you straight to Chicago Med, have you got any sanitary towels?
BETH: No, I don't
GABBY: I'll cut up a hand towel
BETH: Where's Kelly?
Kelly walked into the bedroom
KELLY: I'm here
He walked over to Beth and put his arms around her
GABBY: I'll go get a pair of scissors
Gabby left the bedroom. Beth burst into tears
BETH: I'm sorry
KELLY: Honey, don't blame yourself, please don't!
Kelly was holding back his tears
Dr Halstead and Dr Manning were attending to Beth when they all arrived at Chicago Med. Matt and Gabby were waiting in the corridor while Kelly was in with Beth
Dr Manning got the Ultrasound machine ready
DrMANNING: Are you still bleeding now?
BETH: Yes
The Doctor ran the probe across her stomach after putting gel on it. She sighed after 30 seconds or so
DrMANNING: I'm so sorry Beth
Beth started crying again. Kelly bit his bottom lip to stop himself
DrHALSTEAD: Kelly, Beth, I'm sorry
Kelly nodded his head.
DrMANNING: We'll leave you alone for a few minutes.
Beth and Kelly were alone, he sat at the edge of the examination bed and put his arms across her
KELLY: It'll be okay
BETH: Why is it, that one minute were happy and the next I'm lying in hospital?
KELLY: Life's a bitch!
BETH: Do I need to stay in here tonight?
KELLY: I'm not sure
BETH: I want to go home (crying)
