Niklaus and her got married over one thousand years ago. Things had started getting shaky for the two in the 1910s after she found him cheating, and only focusing on his curse. She left, she left him hurt and alone. A hundred years later she's back just when he happens to want to get New Orleans back, along with making it a safer place for his future heir. Though what if it all was a lie? What if Haley isn't actually pregnant with Klaus' child? It's all a lie she came up with, with the witches to protect her baby that's actually Tyler Lockwood's. Klaus's wife finding Haley sketchy doesn't say anything but keeps an eye on her while toying with her husband a bit. While he wants to get back together and prove himself to her as well as making her jealous. She has just the same mindset except she's flirting with his brother.
