Tied Together With A Smile

It had been a week since Maggie died. Since then Monika has been awfully clingy.

"Baby,can we go to the fountain?" Monika smiled holding onto my arm

"Fine, babe." I said

She pulled me along and I followed.

"Look at the fish so cute!" She squealed

"Cute." I said and kissed her cheek

Owen had been a mess over Maggie he still hasn't come out of his home.

We continued our walk through the park.

Stopping by a bench near a playground.

Tons of little kids were around and Monika smiled at them.

"Maybe one day we'll have one of those." She smiled

"Maybe." I said

But I wasn't sure what I wanted.

Did I want to be with Monika forever?

"Maybe." Monika said "I know so cause you're only mine forever and I'm only yours."

She smiled at me holding my hand a little bit harder.
