Calum: (His P.O.V.)

By the time I arrived to my house's porch it was already past midnight. I knew (Y/N) would refuse to speak with me, but I still decided to take Ashton's advice and come apologize.

Ashton might be a weird, silly and bubbly person who one could think that doesn't know much about life for always having a reason to laugh, make a joke and be happy, but in reality, he was one of the most down to earth persons I know. He always knows exactly what to say and his advice barely fail to be true. That's why when I saw things between me and (Y/N) were getting difficult, I ran to him before it was too late.

I'm not going to lie, I'm scared and ashamed and I don't exactly know what is going to happen once I twist the door knob, so I'm trying to look for an excuse not to do it, but its useless. Sooner or later I'll have to confront her and apologize. So I opened the door.

The house was dark and silent, but I still recognized the silhouette of a person lying on the largest sofa in the living room. (Y/N). She was asleep, still in the same clothes as this afternoon and her face seemed swollen and tear-stained. I've never felt more guilty in my life.

With a small shake of her shoulder, she opened her eyes slowly.

"Hey, why don't you go upstairs, take a shower, and get comfortable, then go to bed?" I whispered casually as she stared at me with an expression that I couldn't exactly decipher in her face.

She slowly sat down and rubbed her eyes lightly.

"Oh my God, Calum!" she shouted and I started to mentally prepare myself for the screams and the scolds and the lecture and the rejection.

"I was so worried!" she cried as she threw her arms around my neck. I was shocked. I did not expect her to react like that. Her small figure shook with sobs and I caressed her hair to try to comfort her.

"Shh. It's alright. I'm okay" I assured her in a calm voice.

"I'm... S-so... Sorry" she said between sniffs and hiccups.

"I shouldn't... have yelled... at... you. I d-do trust you... p-please... Please forgive me" I kept stroking her hair as I looked for an answer to give her.

"It's okay. It was my fault after all. I shouldn't have touched that girl, or left after we fought. You don't have to apologize, instead, forgive me for being such a horrible person. I swear, (Y/N) I will never love another girl as I love you. I swear"

"I forgive you" I heard her mumble against my shirt.

Ashton:

No matter how much I ignored Ashton and dissmissed his calls, he didn't seem to give up. Every five to ten minutes another call made my phone vibrate ferociously in my night stand, and me, not even bothering about checking the caller ID (as I perfectly knew who it was), slammed my finger against the screen to make it stop.

Eventually, it got so annoying that I had to turn off my phone and just lied peacefully in my bed, attempting to read a book I had once started to read, but never actually got the time to finish.

Only this time, my mind was too busy, reminding me about Ashotn and making sure I felt guilty for treating him like I did. I often found myself spazing out and replaying our conversation in my head, which only lead to me re-reading the same sentence for like the twentieth time, but still unsure of what it meant. After several attempts of concentration, I gave up and grabbed my phone instead, not sure if I should turn it on and call him back.

After all, he did kind of have a point. Parties always lead to accidents and horrible events at the end of the night, no matter how careful you were or how much you tried to avoid them.
