10) Lets be a family again

Nik's POV
"Well that didn't go very well." I said

"We need to get her to forgive us." Kol said

"I miss my sister." Rebekah said

"Your sister will come to her senses. She doesn't want to be alone." Mother said

"I don't think you understand mother. Brie isn't like any of us. She doesn't care if she's alone. She's been alone for century at a time. Plus she has someone."

"Who?" Kol asks

"She has a boyfriend in New Orleans. Some werewolf named Jackson. And your not going to take away her happiness again."

"Niklaus has she ever abandoned you and not come back?" Elijah asked

"No she always comes back. Why?"

"Because she said once again you chose them over me. I think that every time you undaggered us she saw that as betrayal. And now that you want to be a family again she thinks that it means she is no longer or was never family." Elijah explained

"You guys have always been the closest even when we were human. When you used to tell us stories about her when you undaggered us she sounded so genuinely happy. This has to have been the worst act of betrayal ever. Even when we did what we did."
Kol said

"Kol do you not remember when we were human. She was equally as close to you. Maybe even more. She looked up to you more than she looked up to me. She loved you so much. And then you never tried to stopped Mikeal. Even though she would stop him when he tried to hit you."

"Why would she look up to me more then any of you? Especially Nik." Kol said

"Because she would have looked up to me but she always told me that she was disappointed in Elijah and I for Tatia."

"Well I have an idea. We can invite her to the ball tomorrow. And if she comes than Kol can try to get her to stay." Mother said

"She will never come." I said

"Then we will deal with that when it comes. Tomorrow's have to hand out the invitations and get ready for the ball and you have to find your outfits. Go now children." Mother said

Brianna's POV
He chose them. He always chooses them. I know what my mother's plans are. She is going to kill them all. But that's what he gets for turning his back on me. He disappointed me when we were human he's disappointing me now. This time I really won't come back to him. I can't. And when he gets tired of them and daggers them he will be alone. I'm taking a day trip. I'm going to New York so they can't find me. But first I'm breaking up with Jackson. I got word that he was cheating in me. But I'll take care of that later. So I sent him a text and said

I've heard what you've been up to. We're over. Watch your back love. 💋

I compelled myself another mansion in Mystic Falls. I'm going to get all my stuff from Nik's place during the night so no one hears me.

2 am
I'm going to get my stuff right now when I got there I knew my siblings were asleep. So I got my suitcase and all of my bags and filled my bags up with clothes and everything else. There was one picture that was Nik and I. I didn't want to look at it so I left it on my bed. I ran back to my car that was down the road and put everything in it. By then I realized that I forgot a box so I went back. I jumped to my balcony but when I looked I the window the door opened. Nik walked in. When he looked around he looked broken. He found the photo on the bed and actually started to cry. Then Rebekah walked in and saw him. She immediately embraced him in a hug and he said
"I failed her. She's gone. She's actually gone."
I felt a tear fall down my face. I wanted to hug him but then I remembered that he chose them and that he can't take that back. Rebekah said
"I know I miss her too. I miss her so much."
"I tried to get her to give you a chance but she never let it go."
"We all miss her." Kol said standing in the door way with Elijah and Finn.
"I just want her to give me a chance." Kol said
I don't cry. I'm the devil of carnage and will not give in. But I know deep down that I want to go into that room and hug Kol. I never seen him cry. Except for when Nik told him that I never wanted to see him again. I would secretly check up on them every once in awhile. Elijah looked over at where I was so I ran away. I watched from a distance as he walked out on to the balcony.
"What's wrong Elijah." I heard Finn ask
"I thought I saw someone." Elijah said
"Come on let's all go back to bed." Finn said
I heard them all leave but I decided to leave the box. It had some clothes in it but I got most of them so i went back to my house and took all my stuff in. Then I went to bed.
