Part 2: Meeting Jughead Jones

Jughead's P.O.V

I was ready to leave to go home. Before I left my secretary told me another person called for the job, just great.

I've been looking for an assistant but most girls that have come are just trying to work for me for my money or trying to get in my pants.

To surprise you, I'm actually still a virgin I was never that type of boy to want to sleep with women.

Once I got home I was greeted by my workers. I went upstairs to put everything down before I went to eat dinner.

Once I was done eating dinner I went to shower and then went straight to sleep.

~The Next Day~

It was the next day and I didn't have to go to my office today. My secretary told me that this girl was coming at 12 pm.

It was currently 10:30 am so I had some time before she came.

~Later~

It was almost 12 so I was getting ready to meet this girl. Still wasn't sure what her name was but I just wanted to get it over with. I heard a knock on my door

(A/N M=Maid)

J-Come in!

M-Mr.Jones A young lady is looking for you

J-Tell her to come in

M-Right away sir

She closed the door. A few minutes later and I heard a knock on the door.

J-Come in!

The door opened and I was met with a beautiful blonde.

Betty's P.O.V

I was in Mr.Jones office now. It wasn't until this morning that I realize that I was applying to be the assistant of the richest man in New York.

When I opened the door I saw him. He was very handsome.

J-You can take a sit

I sat down. I was very nervous at this point.

J-What is your name beautiful

B-My name is Elizabeth Cooper, but I prefer to be called Betty

J-Alright Betty, what made you choose to apply to this job?

B-Well I just moved to New York because of college and I'm looking for a job to help pay for my necessities.

J-Nice, what are you majoring for? I you don't mind telling me?

B-Well I want to be a journalist

J-Ah a writer I see

B-Yes

Jughead continued to asked me questions and I answered truthfully. Once we were done I wasn't sure if I got the job or not until he spoke

J-Well from what I'm seeing and your personality, you have the job

B-What?! Really?!

J-Yes really

B-Omg thank you so much!

I then ran up and hugged him

Jughead's P.O.V

Everything that Betty told me amazed me. She actually had a career and plan for her future unlike the others girls that have come for the job.

When I told her she had the job she went up to me and hugged me. I was shocked at first but when I was about to hug back she pulled away

B-I'm sorry I should have done that

I then heard her say that it was dumb of her to do that but in a whisper

J-It's fine Betty, I know you got excited.

B-When do I start?

J-If you want you can start tomorrow

B-Sure

J-I'll send you your schedule with the times you have to be here.

B-Okay

*Awkward silence*

B-I'm going to head now, thanks again
J-No problem see you tomorrow

And with that she left. I sat back down and just stared at my ceiling. God she was beautiful.

Was I starting to like her? God what is wrong with me, but I can't help myself, does she feel the same?
