i will be giving example phrases after these 10 korean words :)))

before everything else, i would like to explain first what is 하다 /hada/

What is 하다?
• 하다 is a verb which means to do. 하다 is often connected to verbs. Later, you will encounter verbs. In future chapters, I will also teach how to conjugate verbs so it will be easy for you to make sentences in Korean.

1. 세수하다 /sesu-ha-da/
• to wash your face
• 세수 means wash your face

2. 쇼핑하다 /syeo-ping-ha-da/
• to shop
• 쇼핑 means shopping in a korean accent.

3. 빌리다 /bil-li-da/
• to borrow

4. 말하다 /mal-ha-da/
• to speak, to tell
• 말 /mal/ also means language, horse

5. 찍다 /jjik-da/
• to take (a photo)

6. 피곤하다 /pi-gon-ha-da/
• to be tired

7. 타다 /ta-da/
• to ride, to take (transport)

8. 먹다 /mok-ta/
• to eat

9. 눈 /noon/
• eyes, snow

10. 배우다 /bae-u-da/
• 배우다 means to learn

example phrases :

세수하다 -

나는 저녁에 세수를 해요.
/naneun jenyeoke sesurul haeyo/
I wash my face every night.

쇼핑하다 -

쇼핑 가자!
/syeoping kaja/
Let's go shopping!

빌리다 -

도서관에서 책을 빌려요.
/doseogwanesl chaekeul bilyeoyo/
(I) borrow a book at the library.

말하다 -

천천히 말씀해 주세요.
/cheoncheonhi malseumjae juseyo/
Please speak slowly.

찍다 -

사진관에서 사진을 찍어요.
/sajingwaneseo sajineul jjikeoyo/
Take a photo at a photo studio.

피곤하다 -

우늘도 너무 피곤해요.
/uneuldo neomu pigonhaeyo/
I am so tired, today.

타다 -
공항에서 비행기를 타요.
/gonghangeseo pihaeng-gireul tayo/
Ride an airplane at the airport.

먹다 -

뭐 먹을까요?
/mwo meogeulkkayo/
what should we eat?

눈 -

눈이 예뻐요.
/nun-i yeppeoyo/
(your) eyes are beautiful .

배우다 -

한국어를 배울 거예요.
/hangukeoreul baeul geoyeyo/
I will learn Korean (language)
