"For thus says the Lord GOD: 'Indeed I Myself so I will search for My sheep and seek them out.' "
Ezekiel 34:11
This verse is speaking of the Jews and what will happen after captivity, but God's Word is so deep. Who is a sheep of God? Anoyone that has the courage to follow His will.
He loves us all, even when we don't love Him back, like we should. God is our Father and an excellent example of fatherhood. Many fathers don't like their children at times, but they always love them.
He really wants us to listen to Him; albeit, through Scripture first. I don't think many understand how He talks to us, and it is difficult, especially if you are not listening or don't know how to listen. Listening is an art and takes patience.
God chooses His sheep; He is in control. I don't really understand the differing levels of faith. You have to read His Word and then understand it, which is difficult. Many read the Bible and think they understand it.
I am on the fourth time (reading the Bible) and the more I read, the more I need to understand. I ask God's help. I just keep trying.
Many people are consumed with themselves; they don't have time for God. They think they are in control, and may be in man's world; regardless, this thinking is dangerous. I always think - what does God want me to do?
I don't know how much God wants or expects from us, so I better shut up. Our paths are all different. Just tell God you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
