The doll didn't answer Riku, just laugh in scary way and ran away from him.

Riku just kept walking in the palace and didn't find anyone, just stuff flying in the air and some toys, which their eyes were following Riku's steps. So he decided to leave the palace and look outside.
When he went outside he was amazed, everything was so beautiful and shiny as if this place isn't scary at all, in that time he saw Ryosuke walking near him.
