After school, Harry didn't even bother to tell Remus he was home. He was fucking exhausted. He had been awake until about 11 last night doing homework, most of which he didn't even understand because his old school was a bit behind his new one lesson wise. And now he has even more homework.

Thankfully, Remus didn't bother him. His dad didn't even come in except once to bring him a glass of tea. He said Harry should take a break, and he was right. Harry decided to take a few minutes. He got up off his bed, which was covered in textbooks and homework and pencil shavings. Grabbing his cup, Harry sat down on the windowsill. He looked outside after taking a rather long sip, kind of hoping to see that boy again.

He wasn't there, sadly. Harry just decided to look at the curtains again. He remembered a few of them from yesterday. Some he didn't recall though. Harry stopped himself. He was being entertained by curtains on windows. Wow.

Harry decided to get up and walk around his room a bit. He needed to stretch his legs. As soon as he actually started walking around, he could feel his legs stiffen. Christ, how long had he been sitting?

He grabbed his phone and checked the time. 4:07 pm. Bloody hell, he'd been here for 2 hours. Harry shook his head and took another sip of his tea. Eventually, he sat back down on the windowsill.

He looked at the window directly across from him once again, a glimmer of hope - which he didn't get why it was there - in his mind.

The boy was there again, looking out the window. His face was red, as though he had been crying.

{A/N Also, I should add, the apartment buildings are only about one and a half yards apart. They aren't very far.}

Harry watched, shocked and worried, as the boy wiped his face and turned, looking at Harry. His face lit up like it had yesterday and he wiped his face again, more frantic this time. He waved with a tiny and obviously forced smile.

Harry waved again. What was he supposed to do? His eyes darted around and fell on the bottom of the window. He went to open it, but it was locked. When Harry went to unlock it, he saw that the blond boy was looking at him curiously. Harry wore at his bottom lip a little as he unlocked the window and opened it.

The window was tall enough for him to lean out and not hurt his back on it.

"Hey..." Harry wasn't very loud, he was talking normally.

Resting his weight on his arms, which were folded on the outside windowsill, Harry tilted his head at the boy, who looked kind of confused.

"Open your window!" Harry was louder now, hopefully the boy heard him.

The boy opened his window, it wasn't locked.

"Hey!" Harry said, not quite yelling but not quite talking normally either.

"Hello..." The boy was just loud enough for Harry to hear him.

"What's your name?"

The boy hesitated, "I-uhm. Draco."

"That's a pretty name," Harry said without thinking. "My name's Harry."

Draco went red, "Hi, Harry..."

Harry heard a muffled shout, he couldn't make it out though.

"I-I've gotta go! Bye Harry!" Draco frantically threw his window shut and rushed out of his room.

"Bye..." Harry turned around, slowly and a bit shocked. He looked tiredly at his pile of homework and textbooks.

Before he started on his homework again, Harry went into the kitchen.

"Who were you talkin' to, kiddo?" Sirius was home.

"I-uh...Nobody." Harry sat his cup in the sink.

"Well alright. Don't go crazy on me." Sirius smiled and turned back to keep talking to Remus, who didn't seem to be listening to much, as he was focused on a book.

Harry went back into his room, shut the door, and got back to work.
