Taehyung POV
I entered quickly and almost tore my house apart looking for the damn book. I found it fifteen minutes later and I came running out again. I sat in the front seat this time, next to the driver. “Here.” I Said, handing it to Seokjin.
“My, it’s in good condition. Have you been keeping it for me?”
“I didn’t even know it belonged to you.”
“What is it?” Jungkook asked.
“It’s accounts of my great great great grandfathers rise to power. It details all sorts of things that I’m sure the dear Little cub would not feel comfortable with.”
“Hmm...” the driver pulled away from my apartment and down the road. We pulled up to Blue Lily’s moments later and I stepped out of the car. I looked up, taking the time to admire the building as I had the first time I’d seen it. Jungkook pushed the small of my back and Seokjin grabbed my shoulder, pushing my forward.
“Seriously, what is it with you and touching!” I said brushing off theirs hands. Seokjin laughed and studied me.
“One couldn’t not touch such a lovely thing.” I turned away from him and walked forward. “Plus the Little cub's reactions are so cute.”
“Shut up.” I muttered, entering the building. We got into an elevator and exited on the floor we had before. I stepped out quickly, eager to get out of the enclosed space with just Jungkook and Seokjin.
“T-Taehyung?” I heard the familiar voice. That sent me turned and walking the other way.
“Where are you going Little cub?” Seokjin grabbed my shoulder and turned me, pushing my forward. I sighed.
“It is you. Why are you here?” My brother demanded, walking up to me.
“It seems that there are two of you, Little cub.” Seokjin Said to me in Japanese. I nodded numbly. I knew that my brother looked exactly like me. (Just pretend, okay)
“He's my new translator.” Jungkook said.
“B-but sir, I am the translator here.”
“Can you speak Japanese?”
“Well, no but—“
“Then I have no need for you at the moment. Your brother seems to have the better skill set.”
“He chose a lowlife from the slums over me?” My brother said in Russian, turning to me. I snapped then and strode forward, grabbing the front of his shirt.
“Listen here, Taemin. I have a better position than you now, so if you really want, be my guest and try to take it, but it’ll be a little hard for you, seeing that a snake like you can’t think past his next scheme. And low life from the slums? Whose fault is that?”
“Nobody’s But your own you city scum.” I punched him in the face faster than he could process it.
“Fuck you.” I seethed, stepping over him. I found my way back to the conference room and collapsed on the first chair I saw. I spun around slowly.
“It seems the Little cub does not get along with the little snake.” Seokjin Said as he entered.
“My brother is a jackass.” I Said in Japanese. “I can’t stand him.”
“Is that so? But how did the little snake get the job over the little cub? The little cub is prettier and much nicer.”
“Well, the snake is always sneakier than the cub it would seem.” I muttered.
“But the cub may hunt the snake at any time.” He said, placing a hand on my shoulder.
“Yeah, right.” I snorted. “This cub stopped caring after fifteen years.”
“I believe that the Little cub is tired. Perhaps we should convene for the day and discuss business on another?” Seokjin Said to Jungkook.
“Of course.” Jungkook waved at me and I got up, following him out. As we walked out, Taemin grabbed my arm.
“I’m coming over tonight, and you better not fucking resist either.” He muttered to me in Russian. I didn’t give him the pleasure of reacting and shouldered past him, continuing to walk behind Jungkook.
“I’ve never seen such an opposite set of brothers.”
“We are our own people. I don’t like to be affiliated with him.”
“Well, it’s pretty early. Do you want to go to my apartment?”
“No, I have things to do.” I Said. “You can take me home.”
“Stubborn as always.” But he thankfully dropped me off. I entered my apartment and took a shower. When I entered my bedroom, I was slammed into a wall.
“You fucker. You think you’re better than me?” He hissed into my ear. He wrenched my arms together and tied them behind my back. I was so caught off guard that I let him. He muffled me and then flung me onto the bed. “You know how embarrassing it was, being beaten by scum like you in front of not only my boss, but the owner as well?”
I clenched my teeth in pain and groaned as he forcefully shoved his fingers inside of me. “I’ll teach you to disrespect me.” He seethed.
