I Love that opening!

Well, here we are, I know what your thought progress is if you haven't seen this show before.  It's relatively new, so quite frankly, only a few of my readers will have heard of it. This who haven't heard of it before are likely scratching their heads, and thinking" Carl, what is this weird show, and why is a Shounen/ action anime lover like you even touching it?" The answer isn't all that complicated, I was recommended the show by the anime Youtuber community.  All my favorite anime YouTube's were spouting phrases like" This is a good show, with emotions and comedy, and the music is awesome too." or, the always win over phrase of" This Anime is filled with best girls!"
Phrases like this kept the show on my mind until I finally started it in mid-January, and finished it just over a week ago.  What do I have to say to this show that would probably turn off most people via its insane concept? Oh, only that it's awesome! This is my first true dive until the Idol genre of anime, and while, it's obvious that the show actually has a satire about the idea of Idol anime in general, I think it was a strong introduction to the genre. Zombieland Saga is beyond memorable for many reasons, each of the seven girls are characters that are developed very well over the series, each with their own tragedies and different standing points, with each of them being resurrected from a different era of  SAGA. Now, the idea of a bunch of zombie girls being brought back from the dead in order to save SAGA from dying is an absurd plan, that needs a bizarre manager at the helm of it

A very stable man as you can see, who will leave you in fits of laughter most of the time.

Let's see, the music, as I stated before is beyond catchy, with most songs, emotion filled or normal, rock or Idol pop, most likely making your anime music playlists upon watching the show.

Yes, this rap battle certainly helped to hook me in.

The animation is colorful and fluid, even though some of the more CGI heavy performances may or may not take you out of it.  Many of the performance scenes are wonderful, especially the character driven songs, most of which made me cry.

One of the problems I do have is with how the main girl Sakura acts towards the end of the anime, because of some revelations she comes to about herself.  I get where she's coming from, but, she's also such a jerk about it.  Here all your friends are saying that they don't care if they fail, if you have bad luck, that they still want you to perform no matter what, and still, you decide you're just a failure! I mean, all that leads to a solid ending and a solid set of performances, but god, did it annoy me!

Overall: I am just going to tag some friends.

Just a few, but I want to tell so many more people how worth it this show is, I recommend it wholeheartedly to any lover of the genre, or of anime in general. I think this show is a perfect example of an everyone anime, because, I'm sure that anyone who watches it will find something to enjoy.  You'll have a favorite Zombie Girl, and, you'll probably want a second season of this fresh little anime.
