"I see. So Nohr wants to go back to war with us." Ryoma says as he sits atop his throne.
"I can't say if Leo himself wants this, but it's obvious those weren't regular Nohrian citizens. They were armed and ready for to attack." Corrin informs her older brother.
"I see. We must be cautious. Leo is a smart one. We won't know what he is scheming until he finally announces it." Ryoma says, and looks to Alice. "And you. You said you were an Integrity Knight?" He asked.
"Yes."
"I see. Until you know your way around our world, feel free to make Hoshido your home. We will always welcome you with open arms." Ryoma says.
"Thank you sir. I will keep that in mind." Alice says with a slight bow. Thus ends the day.
The next morning, I noticed Corrin alone by a lake. She seemed to be lost in thought. I approach, and stand behind her, silent, until she turns around. "Oh. Eugeo. I wasn't expecting you." She greets me.
"Is something wrong? You seemed...sad." I ask her.
"Oh, did I? Sorry. I was just...thinking about a certain someone. They're gone now, though." She says.
"Oh. I'm sorry I asked." I apologize swiftly.
"No, not at all. It's alright. I know she's watching over me, smiling." She says as a tear falls from her cheek. "She had a son too. I wonder where he is..." She mutters.
In the distance, I can hear footsteps approaching us, and a small boy jumps and hugs Corrin. "There you are, mama!" He says with a big smile.
"Kanna! Good morning, my little bean boy!" Corrin says, immediately losing her sad eyes to those that are happier.
"Mama?" I ask, looking at the boy, then Corrin.
"Oh yes. You haven't met. This is Kanna, my son." She introduces him.
"Hi." He greets me.
"...How old ARE you...?!" I ask in disbelief.
"Huh? My age? I'm 20." She answers.
I stare in disbelief. Is it possible Corrin's a-
"W-Wait! It's not what you think! Honest! There's a perfectly reasonable explanation to this!" She says, blushing.
After a brief explanation of what's going on, I come to understand the situation. A little. Apparently Kanna, and other children, grew up in a pocket dimension called a Deep Realm. Time is much faster there, so the what seems like a short while since the parent's last visit, was actually years later in the Deep Realm. So Kanna and the other children were under some kind of accelerated growth until they came here.
I'd also noticed a few Nohrians here in Hoshido. A maid, a butler, and a paladin. Two paladins, even. A male and a female. Presumably father and daughter. "I'm sure you met Silas? The paladin in black?" Corrin asked.
"Yeah." I nod.
"He's my husband. And his daughter, Sophie, is also Kanna's older sister." Corrin explained to me.
"Oh. I see." I nod.
"Lady Corrin! A report!" A ninja in yellow suddenly appears behind us.
"What is it, Kagero?!" Corrin asked.
"Nohrians. At the border. Again." Kagero the ninja briefly explained.
"Then we don't have time to waste. Let's go Eugeo." She says, and runs off with Kanna. I follow.
When we get there, we see the Nohrian troops ahead. "How many, Kaze?" Corrin asked a Ninja clad in green.
"Too many to count. But they haven't advanced. They're just standing there. Menacingly." The ninja replies.
