I had stumbled through the door for dinner just as mom was setting the table and dad in his rightful throne at the head waiting patiently on his meal. "Took you long enough, did you have a good study session?" Mom asks making her way toward the kitchen, "Help me will you?" She looks at me. I go to the kitchen counter and pick up the sides; mashed potatoes and peas. My mom carries in a meatloaf possibly store bought since that two were always busy. Stanley sneaks up behind me and I nearly jump when I realize who it is, "Shit, Molly you smell like..." I motion for him to shut up so he does, "Tell me who gets that stuff and I'll never speak a word."

We all sit down for the meal and everyone is getting as much as they please, "How's school going, Moll's?" Dad asks as he takes a bite of his potatoes, "It's alright I mean I haven't failed and I haven't dropped out." He nods in agreement. "How about you Stanley, what did you do all day?" Stanley shrugs, "Not much... Just read textbooks I guess." My dad claps his hands signaling everyone's attention, "Alright, there's a mission trip coming up in a week. Your mom and I are going and we will be gone for three weeks..." Stanley's eyebrows raise, "Oh you mean you guys and your sexual escapade?" My mom kicks his foot under the table, "It is not our escapade, Winston! I'm taking three weeks of my vacation time to go on this trip. It's gonna be in Mexico and we're part if the relief program." Stanley interjects, "So sex and malaria sounds kinky." I giggle at his snide remarks. "... Stanley shut up it's to help the flood victims. You will have to keep an eye on your sister for these these weeks alright?" Stanley drops his fork bite, "What, why?! She's almost 17 she can watch herself, right sis?" Then I realized this was the perfect chance, "Yea don't worry about it mom, I'm pretty much an adult at this point. I can handle myself." Mom looks to dad, "Well I don't see why not? I mean it shows and teaches responsibility I don't know about you but I trust her." Mom shrugs. "Now if I come back and you're having a party, an orgy or doing illegal substances you're going to that camp this summer." Mom nods in agreement.

After dinner I wait till mom and dad are in their room possibly gonna fool around  but Stanley is different he will be up all night either on his Xbox or YouTube, he catches me dressing for the party in my bedroom, he's such a tool. "Where you going all spiced up like that?" I was in my black skinny jeans and boots, a gray t-shirt and a choker. "You see my bro, I am going on an adventure tonight. A very new adventure." Stanley glances me up and down and chuckles, "Like that? You better compensate with that hair of yours." I mock laugh at him, "I could care less about my hair. I'm meeting the chicks a block away  were going to a party." Stanley gasp, "Guy ir girl? Or birthday party? Molly, you're becoming... Somewhat normal." I roll my eyes and finish my lipstick and mascara. I receive a text a few minutes later from Casey who Keri got her parents car for the night for getting good grades. Keri was the goody two shoes who just happened to be really lucky. I mean she had been diagnosed with a tumor in her stomach and because of the severity of it she got paid big bucks.

I grab my bag and open the window, "Window really? How cliché." I give him the evil eyes as I step out onto the roof and near the rain gutters until I spot the tressels where my mom's flowers grew up to the house. I climb down and walk about a block up from my house and spot a black car which was Keri's mom's Honda Civic, "Get in!" Esme dragged me in. We drove a couple miles smoking cigarettes and talking about this happening amongst each other, "I hope it's as loaded as they say it is." Casey takes a drag off her cigarette. "I hope I find the one this time." Esme adds. "I hope my parents don't kill me and no one scratches my car..." Kari mumbled. I just hoped that I wasn't invisible for the first time in my young life one of my spells worked.

We all got out and parked the car outside the house, "Now this is a party!" Casey led us through the crowds of drunken teens and possibly other drugs. We ended up at the drinks which were Budweiser and Coors. Never was a huge fan of beer but something told me I could change this to wine. As we stood there listening to dubstep and alternative music I realized how hipster this party made me feel; I mean here I was with three badass bitches and all we wanted to do was fit in? Which I knew for me especially wasn't gonna ever come true. After twenty minutes we all split up and look for people to do, drugs to try or beer to drink. That's when I met him.

He wasn't a dream come true or anything but to most girls they looked at him like a God. I only saw what most girls didn't see, a lonely and depressed boy. Who probably grew up the same way I did. Parents were there but barely paid attention, older siblings didn't pick on him just made him feel like he had to try harder to keep up with them and had a gift that no one would ever understand.

"Hi." I took a sip from my red Solo cup and pretended not to hear him, "Hi." He said a little louder. "Oh hey." I said to match his voice, "I feel like I've seen you around. Do you go to my school?" I nod. "Yea I'm a junior." "Me too! How old are you?" I shrug and glances at his attire. A black leather jacket with dark jeans and The Clash t shirt, "I'm 17." I lied cause this is going so smooth and I think he's kind of well hot. Next thing I know we get to talking and walking and I'm making out with him our tongues battling in dominance. We stop for a few minutes to search for an empty room we come across a bedroom only to find Esme giving some stranger a blow job. We head toward the other bedroom and find it empty. Just as we begin to kiss again and he starts to undo my jeans and takes off his shirt we hear someone yelling throughout the halls and down the house. "Fire! Fire! Guys get out!" A bunch of drunk teens and drugs usually equals an accident but this time it was much more than that.

We hurried and put our clothes on some people not having decency to do that and carrying bongs and pipes and clothing pieces. When I get outside on the lawn and in the distance were firetrucks I realize I'm all alone. Where the fuck are my friends? As everyone else is drunk amd starts to scatter it's just me and Matt staring as the flames spread throughout the house and roof, "Where are they?!" I start to panic and try to rush back into the burning mess, "It's ok I'm sure they'll find them! We gotta stand back and let these guys do their job alright?!" I don't speak I can only be held back by four police men before I rush into that fire to find them myself. After a few minutes and firemen trying to put out the mess I believe Matt's parents arrive home and they are not only in shock but they're surprised Matt is even alive at all, "Wait I didn't get your name?" I don't respond to quickly still waiting to see my friends hopefully alive, "It's Molly."
