Poetry: me and only me

sometimes i think the world is against me

and so i've always thought that i'd only have myself as company

but does that make me selfish?
does it make me evil?
does it make me unkind?

when the world is against me and i'm only by myself

is it smallminded of me to not care about anything else but

me and only me

when the world suffers
when the world pains
when the world succeed
when the world accomplish

am i selfish for not caring for a world that is not me?

can i not just view the center of all as me

and only me

if i don't then who else may deserve that title

do not love
do not hate
do not care

for anyone that isn't
