Sephy had watched the whole day as everyone had spoke about the new boy, they either spoke highly of his looks or lowly of his reputation. No in between.
The boys were envious of him and sent him threats and the girls scrambled to sink their talons into him so he had no way of release.
He was yet to learn.
The new boy looked frantic but also equally as chill. It was a look that suited him and Sephy couldn't help but watch him as his eyes darted from a student to the next.
Sephy was intrigued especially by his sharp mouth that had spat a few curses towards the floor as he was thrown from side to side with shoulder barges.
It's as if she had only looked away for a few seconds but in that time the hallway had fallen into cheers and the new boy was drenched in liquid. It dripped from his forehead onto the corner of his downturned lip.
It was then that Sephy knew she had to step in before the rest of the wild animals began to stampede over his rotting corpse.
It wasn't that she wanted to help the new boy, it was the simple fact that she hated everyone else.
"Step the fuck down" she snapped as she casually walked forward, swaying her dangerously short skirt.
The laughing hyenas snapped their mouths together in an instant, terrified of the dangerous girl.
She was the most feared in King's Dominion and there was a reason behind that.
"You like Maria huh?" Chico proceeded to ask the new boy which made a devilish laugh erupt up Sephy's throat.
"Take a fucking day off, Chico" she shouted much louder for the rest of the hall to hear.
Chico's back stiffened and he begged himself not to look over his shoulder towards the girl, knowing that fear would flood through his veins and quite obviously announce his weakness.
Instead he flicked out his pocket knife smoothly and pressed it against the new boys neck.
Sephy had snapped at that point, she grabbed ahold of his back and in one swift movement held him against the locker with the roles reversed. She made sure he felt the cool metal of the knife as it rubbed against his skin.
"don't EVER ignore me" she spat as she gritted her teeth towards Chico who's breath hitched at the sight of her anger "you fucking got that?"
She dropped Chico from her grasp and he puffed out his chest as a sigh of relief, Maria, his girlfriend, tentatively holding his bicep to comfort him.
"Thanks" the new boy smiled looking Sephy up and down before allowing his eyes to become transfixed on her piercing blue ones "my names Marcus"
Sephy scoffed and threw her hair behind her shoulder before rolling her eyes and saying,
"I don't care"
