When he screamed at me, I was scared.

When he lied to me, I said nothing.

When he made no sense, I said he was right.

When he was sad, I helped him.

When he got angry, I apologized.

But,

When I was right, he said I wasn't.

When I got sad, he got angry at me.

When I was telling the truth, he said I was lying.

When I got angry, he got angrier.

When I was scared, he screamed.

And I? I still believed in him.
