Kara

Shift gets over and I text Jay.

K: I'm feeling sick so I'm just gonna head home. If you wanna come to my place you're more than welcome to.

J: I'll meet you there. ❤️

I get to my house and walk in. I change into a hoodie and sweats, and sit on the couch turning on SVU. I hear a knock at the door and yell "Come in!"

Jay walks in, walks over to me and sits by me. "Hey beautiful." He kisses me. "So are we officially back together?" I asked. "Yes." He pulls me on his lap. I put my blanket on again since he snatched it.

He puts his hand on my small bump. "If our baby is a girl she's not dating until she's 40." Jay said. I laughed.

"You know he or she is gonna have two successful parents? I'm a doctor, you're a detective. That's pretty successful." I smile. He smiled back.

I fell asleep in the middle of the 3rd episode of SVU.

Jay

I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to end things between Kara and I a few months back. But I'm glad to have my girl back.

She falls asleep in the middle of SVU. I carry her up to her room, and lay her in her bed, and I lay next to her, wrapping my arms around her, kissing her cheek. "Goodnight baby."

I hear her mumble, "Night."

I wake up at 6:45, and text Voight.

Jay: Hey If it's okay with you I'm gonna take a personal day today. Kara is off and I wanna spend some quality time with her.

Hank: No problem. Have fun.

I fall back asleep.

I wake back up around 9. Kara isn't in bed, I hear the shower running. I walk in the bathroom to pee.

"Morning babe!" I say. She screams. "Jesus Christ Jay! Don't do that!"

I do my business then get in the shower with her. I wrap my arms around her. "Thought you could use some company." I kissed her neck.

"You thought right." She turned around and looked into my eyes.

"I love you baby." Kara said. "I love you too." I kiss her.

After showering, we get dressed and I make us breakfast. "So I was thinking, since we're having a kid together and we're back in a relationship, we should move in together. Like buy a house or condo of our own." I suggest.

Kara looks up and smiles. "I love that idea." 

I smile and finish making breakfast. We spend the day looking at houses on Zillow. Then we find the perfect one.

3 bedroom, 3 bath, perfect. We'll have a bedroom for us, the baby and a guest if someone happens to stay over.

We book a showing and go see it. It's a condo but it will do. We decide to take it and we get it that day.

I finally get to start a life with my girl.
