Her beauty you can see from across the room
The natural kind, she doesnt have to try
The lights twinkle in her eyes
Honey hair cascades just below her shouldersSometimes she uses her bangs to hide
People aren't always kind
Words hurt like sticks and stones
And leave bruises on her glowing skin
They linger and they blossom
Because she lets them inBut what she may not see
Behind the guise of a youthful girl
Lies the heart of the greatest warrior
With the strength to perservere
Through anything this world may throw at her
And the wisdom to know
That love is always stronger than hate
