"We'll be going now Celestine, take care okay, your kuya Trek will be here later. We love you" Sabi sa'kin ni mom before planting a kiss on my forehead, so did dad before exiting my room.
Three weeks ago. I 'fell' from the rooftop of our house. A mild head injury, bruises and scratches were all what I gained from landing in bermuda grass, I knew, I already calculated what would happen if I jumped off that roof but unfortunately Frinch-our dog broke my fall making me land on him.
Dapat natuluyan na talaga ako e. That dog was in my way. My parents found me lying unconscious on top of Frinch who gained a few broken bones. They rushed me to the hospital. the moment I woke up, the doctor was talking to daddy.
"Wala namang siyang malubhang natamo aside from a mild head injury dahil sa pagtama nito sa bato but aside from that, nothing dangerous, all she has to do is rest para maghilom ang mga sugat. She is one lucky girl that she landed on your dog"
Lucky... Yeah sure, lucky's the word. Baka malas kamo!
I don't want to live anymore!
Hindi ko na kaya! Those memories keep on haunting my dreams, haunting ME! Since that day.
I jumped off my bed, ignoring the dizziness I felt from rushing. I tried to find a knife, a fork, a detergent soap in the bathroom or anything to help me end this misery they call life!
Nothing, wala! This hospital room was clean only a bed, a table with a basket full of fruits and chocolates and a water bottle and a TV. Fvck! Is this even a hospital? Looks like I'm in prison. Ni walang bintana?!
Oo nga pala, daddy doesn't want it to be that messy, since he owns this hospital all I have to do is ring my personal nurse and she'll be here.
I had a bright idea, well, I don't do the same trick two times but I guess I have no choice.
I grabbed my bunny slippers, pipihitin ko na sana ang door knob when it suddenly opened from the outside, I was taken aback when I saw kuya Trek.
He was a little bit surprise to see me standing --because the other days he visited me I was laying in bed all day.
"Oh? Celestine, what are you upto?" He asked walking towards my bed placing a white cellophane with the mark of a famous resto, I followed and sat on my bed. "Okay ka na ba? Saan ang punta mo?"
"Yeah I'm fine, magpapahangin lang..." I flawlessly lied. Ofcourse I'm not telling him I'm suicidal, tsk.
"Diba sabi ni dad don't leave the room kapag wala kami?"
"Kuya, what am I going to do here?! Bore myself? Ugh! Besides I'm fine already."
"Doncha worry, malapit na matapos ang fumigation sa special room mo"
Fumigation? That explains why I'm in a common room.
"Can't I go home yet?"
"Nope, the doctor did say na kailangan mo pa ng one week bed rest."
Ugh.
Kuya will be here overnight according to him, so we busied ourselves by eating the food he bought from Monterillo Resto.
12:30 AM. Tulog na si kuya sa tabi ko while eto ako nakaupo with a pillow on my lap and Kuya Trek's phone in my hand.
Pinagbawalan muna ako ni mommy gumamit ng mga gadgets for reasons I don't know, pero brother dear spoils me with these kind of things so he let's me borrow his phone 'pag siya lang ang magbabantay sa'kin.
First time in four days I had the courage to log in into one of my social media accounts. I took in a big gulp upon seeing the picture of me hanging my arms around Jerone's neck as our lips were pressed together. I endulged myself once again for gulp when I saw the comments.

I logged out immediately bago pa ako maluha.
Umupo ako ng maayos habang pinupunasan ang luha'ng nagbabadyang tumulo.
Grabe naman sila, that was harsh even for me. It's not a sin to love right? Naramdaman ko'ng gumalaw si kuya, so I grabbed the tv remote amd turned it on and immediately dried my tears with the back of my palms.
"Are you crying?" Tanong ni kuya.
I shook my head looking at the tv ahead.
"Celestine, your crying, what's the matter? Don't lie to me."
"It's nothing kuya, humikab lang ako and this movie kinda made me emotional." I said without diverting my attention to him.
"Really? What's sad about Superman?" Nagtatakang tanong ko.
"Hmp! Manhid ka lang talaga!" I tried to joke throwing a grape unto his face.
"Weirdo!" Singhal niya and covered himself with my comforter.
I should tap myself in the back, I conviced my family that nothing is wrong with me. Good thing I don't accept my family members' -even kuya's, friend requests online in my public account, until now they don't know what's happening to their little Celestine at school. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.
I laid in my bed and closed my eyes. A few minutes matapos kong maidlip their faces were showing.
"Celestine you b!tch. I thought we were friends, bakit kailangang si Jerone pa! Friendship over you whore!"
"Jerone! Jerone! Please talk to me! Please!"
"Umalis ka sa harap ko Celestine! Tama nga ako, naguguluhan lang ako, na si Ferrah ang mahal ko! You, you seduced me! Lumayas ka na sa buhay ko! Hindi kita mahal!"
"Jerone... Please..."
"Girls, look the desperada is at it again!"
"So malandi!"
"Sulutera pa! Sayang, maganda sana siya"
Napabalikwas ako ng bangon! I don't know pero lumingon ako sa pintuan, the glass window on the wall bore a handsome angelic face looking straight at me. Umangat ang gilid ng kanyang labi nang magtama ang aming mga mata.
I blinked and then he was gone...
