I groaned and turned round to turn my alarm clock off and spend a few extra minutes in my bed.

I thought to herself, if I didn't hurry up and get ready I was going to be late for my job interview in one of the most prestigious media management companies in the US. I scrambled out of bed and ran to the bathroom.
*20 minutes later*
Showered, makeup done and dressed I was ready to go.

I ran outside quickly and hailed a cab and made my way speedily to Lynch's Media Management. I had been waiting so long for a job like this to come along. I was only twenty two, straight out of college and applying for what seemed like every job in the whole city. And I hadn't received ANY job offers or even interviews. Until today.
I was prepared, I had done all my research on Mark Lynch the man who ran the business and I was ready.
We finally arrived at the building ten minutes before my interview. I ran inside and a receptionist gave me a pass and sent me to the 88th floor in the skyscraper.
I stood in the elevator mentally preparing myself for the interview.
It's okay he's a family guy, he has kids, grandkids, pets. Just be yourself, be nice and he will definitely hire you.
At floor 33 a man and a woman stumbled into the elevator, clothes messy and the woman's shirt buttoned wrong. I rolled my eyes, clearly knowing what they had been up to. The man looked at me and smirked and the woman looked round and shot me a glare. I just turned my head away and ignored them. Nothing could ruin my day.
At floor 46 the woman gave the man a kiss and exited the lift, leaving me and the man standing in silence.
"Hi I'm Rocky." He held out his hand for me to shake.
"I'm Juliette and I'm not shaking that hand. God knows where it's been."
He laughed, "Darling I would watch who you're talking to."
"Who are you my father?" I scoffed at him angrily, not in the mood for this kind of bullshit today.
"No but believe me you'll be calling me daddy soon enough."
I spluttered and began to say something back to him when the elevator opened for the 88th floor and Rocky strode out.
In a daze I walked to the receptionist and told her my name and the time for my interview. She told me to sit and wait and that she would call Mr Lynch. She was on the phone for thirty seconds when her head popped up and she gestured for me to follow her.
So I did, she knocked on the door twice and I heard a "come in" and she left.
I opened the door
Oh shit
No other than Rocky was sitting behind the desk.
"Good morning Juliette please come in, you're here for an interview yes?"
