She spoke to something
deep within him,
lighting an urge to
consume,
own,
Protect.
He waited,
patiently learning her.
Who she was,
what she desired,
what she needed.
When the time came,
he would make himself known.
Approaching with caution,
she would be his.
He was already hers.
