"Yeah it's me, Gwen Cooper from Torchwood, I've been listening for about half an hour now, but I've only just been able to patch myself through properly and communicate with you" the voice spoke again.

"Wait that's impossible, how did you manage to patch yourself into the Tardis's communication network, nobody can do that. It's only there for when I need to communicate with my best mates. How did you do that?" The Doctor asked Gwen, she began to flip up some red switches. "Ahh, very clever," she said.

"Yeah, I'm using the Mr Copper Foundation sub-wave network, left to us by Harriet Jones on the occasion of her death. Jack kept it, and managed to use it to contact the Tardis in an emergency, I knew Jack was with you because of the tracker in his earpiece. When I located where he was there was massive time vortex residue in that area. That's when I patched myself in and heard you all" Gwen replied. "Anyway, Yaz was it?"

"Yeah, that's me, Yasmin Khan," Yaz replied, walking away from the doors, back towards the console. She still had a confused look on her face.

"I know exactly how I can help you out. I have a friend, in the South Wales police. His names Sergeant Andy Davidson. I can contact him, and ask him to fill in a report which can confirm the quarantine of this university. That way it won't look too fishy to others."

"Oh mate, that is brilliant Gwen Cooper from Torchwood," the Doctor said as she smiled at Yaz. She pointed at the console "Isn't she good, Jacks team are amazing Yaz, you would love them"

"Not much of a team now, just me and Jack these days" Gwen interrupted.

The TARDIS began to beep, as there was an incoming call. "Sorry Gwen, we've got another call coming in, talk to this Sergeanr and do what you can. We'll be in touch" The Doctor pressed a red button, which ended the call. She then pulled a lever which answered the new call and grabbed her microphone.

"Doctor, the university still hasn't been evacuated and there is another massive power drain coming from the basement, and I don't think Graham and Ryan have switched off the power yet. We need to get a move on" It was Jack.

"All right bossy. Yaz, you heard the man" the Doctor said sounding cheeky.

"On it," Yaz said. She ran from the console room, holding the police tape under her arm. She pulled the doors open and ran out.

"Jack, I've just spoken to Gwen. She's all right and is going to help us out. She's talking to Sergeant Andy, who's going to place this university officially under quarantine so we can get on with it."

Jack sighed with relief "thank god she's safe. I'm currently approaching the basement. I'll be in touch." The call ended. The Doctor placed her Microphone back up on the console
