Sky's POV (Thursday)

I walked to school with Clyde and Rani. I didn't see Riley on the way. Once I got to school, I went to my friends.

"Did you see Riley again?" Darcey teased.

"Ha ha very funny. No, I didn't."

I wasn't going to tell them I did. They'd tease me even more.

I went to the bathroom during reg. No one was in there. I was alone.

I opened one of the stall doors, I couldn't believe who I saw.

"Riley?!"

"Hello Sky."

"What're you doing in here?"

She didn't answer.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm worried. I don't want to go to lessons today."

"Why?"

"Maybe they won't like me."

"My friends will. Come with me, you can meet them."

"Are they nice?"

"Yes. Just give me a minute. I actually did need the toilet."

After we left the bathroom, I held Riley's hand and we walked to reg.

"I don't want to go in."

"Please. Just do it."

"They're not going to like me."

"They will. Trust me."

"Alright then."

We both went in. I made sure Riley was behind me. I pointed to an empty seat next to my friends.

I looked to my friends then to Riley. She was gone.

I sat with my friends then wondered where Riley was. Somehow she'd quickly run off.

Later at lunch...

I was waiting in the pasta queue in the cafeteria. All my friends were in the hall because they had packed lunch.

Once I had my food, I made my way to the hall. I bumped into Rani on the way.

"Hi Rani."

"Hi Sky."

"Did you get your dad to see if Riley was in this school?"

"Not yet. I'm going to though. I've been busy all day."

"Ok. Thank you. I appreciate this."

"No problem."

Then I continued walking to the hall. I had a pretty normal afternoon. I hadn't seen Riley after that. At least not at school.

At home...

It was getting dark so I went to shut my curtains. Whilst I was shutting them, I saw someone... looking at me. I got a closer look.

Oh my gosh... it was... Riley?

How did she know where I lived?

She was smiling. It was creepy. She motioned her hands in a "Come here" sort of way. I shook my head to say "no" because she was freaking me out.

"Sky? Why are you looking out there? It's getting dark. You should close them. You can look in the morning." Said Mum, who surprised me.

"Mum, do you see out there? It's Riley! Look!" I demanded.
