I was petrified. Mum brought me in late on purpose. Apparently, the police were all in position. I hadn't actually seen them around.
I went to my locker to get my Maths book. When I turned around, I saw her. I almost jumped.
"Hello Sky. Decided to leave the school yet?"
"Actually... I've decided... I won't leave. This is my school."
"Bad choice Sky."
She raised her arm to slap me. I screamed. The police came towards us.
Unfortunately, she slapped me before the police got near us. It really hurt.
They grabbed Eliza and handcuffed her. I felt relieved.
"I may have been arrested, but one way or another, I'll get back in my school. I won't forget you Sky."
"Well I actually want to forget you... Eliza."
"How do you know my real name?"
"I won't tell. But now, you're going where you can't harm anyone."
"Well I've harmed you. I hit you."
The police took Eliza away. Clyde and Rani came to me.
"Are you ok?" Clyde asked.
"Yeah. Only my face hurts because she slapped it. But she's gone!"
"Come on, I'll take you to Dad's office."
Me and Rani walked down. She had her arms around me.
When we got there, we saw Mr. Chandra talking to a police.
"Dad? What's going on?"
"Excuse me, Rani, Sky, the officer was explaining what's going to happen to Eliza."
"We'll wait outside."
When they were done, we went in. We sat down and I calmed down.
"Sky, are you ok?"
"Yeah. She hit my face but I'm ok."
"Does it hurt?"
"Not really. I'll be fine."
"Alright, they're taking Eliza to the police station. They're either going to lock her up or put her in a mental hospital."
"Thank god for that." I sighed.
Then, the door knocked. Miss. Wood, my head of year, walked in.
"Miss. Wood, is everything ok?"
"I heard about Sky and Eliza. I wanted to make sure that Sky was ok."
"Yes, I'm fine thank you Miss. Wood."
"Good. Could you please come with me?"
"Ok. Shall I take my stuff?"
"Yes. This way."
Whilst we were out in the hall, I saw Alice. She hugged me. I told her I'd explain everything to her.
Miss. Wood took me outside. She took me to the car park.
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see." She smiled.
I saw Mum. She hadn't gone home when she dropped me off.
"Mum!" I called.
"You're going home Sky. I hope you'll feel less traumatised tomorrow."
"Thank you Miss. Wood."
Then I went to Mum. She gave me a hug and took me home.
I explained everything to her.
"I'm so glad that Eliza was arrested. Now, she can't hurt anyone." I said.
"Yeah. You must be so traumatised, bless you." Mum said.
"I am, a bit. It was shocking."
"I don't blame you. Hey, why don't we have a day out together? We can go to get some ice cream. But we'll also have to go shopping. I was meant to do that."
"Of course. I'd love to."
We went shopping first. Mum spent a certain amount so she could have the shopping delivered to the house later.
We went to Subzero for ice cream. I had a strawberry ice cream with sprinkles and sauce. Mum had chocolate chip ice cream with sauce.
I had such an amazing day. I'd almost forgotten about Eliza.
When Clyde and Rani came home, I told them about Me and Mum's amazing day out.
They were happy that I wasn't feeling traumatised anymore. I was happy too.
I phoned Alice to explain everything. She was glad that Eliza had been arrested. She was also glad that I was ok.
I was so thankful that Mum helped me. She made everything better. She gave me an amazing day to remember.
"Sky, I want you to remember this. I will always be there for you."
I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her.
