Chapter 9: Old Friend

I woke up late in the morning. Irene didn't wake me up.

She might've about forget me.

I stood up and took a shower and did my morning rituals.

After dressing up. I left my room.

"Seulgi-unnie!" Yeri greeted me.

I gave her a smile.

They are all here at the living room. But there's this girl talking to Irene.

Irene saw me.

"Yah Seulgi! This is my sister." She said.

The girl faced my direction.

My eyes widened.

"Seulgi/Jiyeon?!" Me and Jiyeon said in surprise.

"You two know eachother?" Irene asked.

"Yes Unnie." Jiyeon said.

Jiyeon came to me and hugged me so tight. I smiled at her actions. I hugged her back.

"I missed you." She said.

"I missed you too." I said.

She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.

Irene coughed causing me and Jiyeon keep at distance between me and her.

"So.. How do you guys know eachother?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"We're childhood friends Unnie. She is the friend that I'm always telling you." Jiyeon explained and looked at me.

Irene's eyes widen. And looked at me worriedly.

Jiyeon must've told her about some of my experience on my childhood. Irene knows that I'm from a abusive family but I never tell her what I experience there. I always change the topic when it comes to that.

I just gave her a smile. She still gave me an worried look then her gaze came back to Jiyeon.

"I should've known... I mean I already noticed a lot of similarities of Seulgi and your childhood friend. But I never assumed. Turns out they are only one. I've always want to see her. I didn't know she was my friend now." Irene said and let a chuckle.

"Yeah Unnie. I didn't know also that your friend that you are always telling me too is my childhood friend. I thought they only have a similar name." Jiyeon said.

Jiyeon's gaze landed at me. She scanned me from head to toe and back to the head.

"You've grown so much, Seulgom." She said and smiled.

"You too." I replied back.

And then she focused to my eyes. Like she could see my soul.

Her smile turn into a frown.

"Yet. You are still the girl that I saw from the first day..." She mumbled.

I just gave her a bitter smile.

I don't really feel happiness at anything. Tho I laughed. It's just.. It's just it doesn't complete me. Nothing completes me.

My eyes landed to Irene. And I saw her looking at me. Frowning. As if she heard my thoughts.

Someone knocked the door. Irene quickly opened it.

"Heyo! Where's my girl's sister?" Sehun asked.

Jiyeon smiled at him.

"Oppa! It's nice to meet you finally." Jiyeon said and waved at him.

Sehun saw her and smiled back.
