we will write
on these
forbidden walls
to preserve our
ever diminishing
youth.

so fragile and elusive
under the touch of
a half goddess
half devil

our youth will fade
and reach the sky
in clouds of smoke
from ashen lips

and
tears dripping down
child like eyes
because
mommy doesn't like failures.

and
hours spent
pondering calories
in foods
and how many days
one can go without
eating.

and nights bathed
under starlight
and sweat
and screeches
torn out of ones
throat
honey between lips
and no space between two
catastrophes waiting to happen.

our youth will fade
but we will write
upon these walls
engraving the solitude
the happiness
the unsatisfactory taste
of life
that will always
leave you craving
more
and more
and
more.
