it was hide and seek

they were just playing hide and seek

"five..." luther begins to count, all of hargreeves children squeal and  scramble around trying to find a place to hide

"four..." five had it the easiest. since he had teleported before luther even began counting. allison had hidden behind the couch, it was pretty visible so she'll might have to rumor luther if he ever came closer to her

"three..." diego had to get creative and instead opted to hide behind mom's back until everything was over

"two..." vanya didn't play. vanya was never allowed to play, because luther said that only the powerful ones get to play, so she sat on the stairs and decided to watch everyone

"one!" the unholy trinity, which was composed of lilith, klaus, and ben were a coluple of mischievious little things. their hiding places were always the oddest ones, at one point in time mom had found them hiding inside the cabinet eating cookies

"ready or not here i come!" but this time the unholy trinity decided to stir things up a bit and ran upstairs to hide in the blanket fort they had made for this scenario, and they knew that vanya wouldn't tell luther anything

"lilith, we have to turn off the fairy lights!" klaus whines, as he watches lilith's gears turn as to wear she should put the fairy lights "but it looks better this way klaus!"

"but luther might see us!"

"no he might hear us if the both of you keep shouting!" ben argues, getting a glare from both klaus and lilith

lilith sticks her tongue out mockingly "same goes for you!" she clutches the fairy lights in her hands, but soon gasps as klaus grabs it from her "we've been hide and seek champions for seventeen days straight! and i don't want to lose that title!"

lilith whimpers and tried to grab it from him, but to no avail as klaus was taller than she was. lilith was always the smallest, but she decided that this could be an advantage against her enemies "lilith no!" klaus shouts out

she huffs and crosses her arms, looking away from klaus "fine!"

her eyes were closed so she couldn't see anything, she could only hear a couple of whispers and the shuffling of blankets and pillows

it wasn't before long when she felt someone tap her shoulder, she turns around and sees ben and klaus smiling cheekily at her "what?" she asks confused

the boys then look up, making lilith follow their gaze. she gasps as she sees her beloved fairy lights hung above them like magic. she giggles and tackles them both down into a huge hug

the entire blanket fort comes crashing down, falling onto the trio. the three not caring at all, since they were busy laughing their butts of

"ahem" the three of them look up and sure enough they see their father, behind them being all of the children huddled together

"number eight, number four and number six, playtime is over so stand up at this very instant" the trio do as they are told, standing up straight thrh look at their father rght in the eyes in silence
