Storm ~Gladio~ *Fluff*

I sat there watching the news, it explained that the snowstorm that is currently happening outside was going to last for a few days, and that's when the power went out. 'Really Shiva?' I began to shiver, "blankets!" I spoke as I ran to my bedroom, I grabbed all the blankets I had in the house threw them onto the bed, then I scooped them up, and made my way to the front room where I sat down and began to cover myself up. "I hope my friends are all right..." I sighed, my brother didn't live too far from me. Then my phone rang which caused me to slightly jump, "hello?" I asked hiding my shivering, "Y/n..." Ignis' voice rang out 'Iggy!' I smiled, "hey Iggy are you okay? I know the powers out and you live close to me..." I chuckled, "actually...Noct invited the four of us to wait out the storm the next few days..." he told me, "you should come over!" Prompto's voice spoke, which meant that I was on speaker, "it's really cold though..." I mumbled, "they weren't asking Y/n...if you don't come over...I will go over to your place and retrieve your ass" Gladio spoke as I blushed, "ten gil says I won't even make it" I said as I heard a door close, "and he's gone..." Noct spoke out with a sigh, "what?", "Gladio has left to get you," Ignis told me as I groaned. "All right...thanks Spec's" I then hung up and continued to sit on the couch.

I felt so tired, 'stay awake Y/n...don't die here...don't die not only because Shiva is being a bitch...but imagine how Gladio will feel if he gets here and finds your dead frozen body' I shivered as there was frantically knocking on the door, I slowly got off the couch and opened the door. "G-Gladio..." I shivered as he caught me because my legs were so cold that they gave out. "Y/n...I told you to come over! Why didn't you tell us you had no power?!" he growled, "I didn't w-want you t-to w-worry..." I shivered as he carried me to my couch. He shed his jacket, and gloves, he then sat down beside me and held me close to his body. "How are you not f-freezing?" I asked shivering, "I'm like a walking heater...cold doesn't really bother me..." he said as I tiredly chuckled, "Y/n?" he asked as my eyes started to close, "whoa whoa! Y/n! Don't fall asleep!" he said as I smiled at him. "You're only saying that because you know I'll die..." I whispered, "yeah! So stay awake Y/n!" he told me, "mm...I'm just gonna...close my eyes for a few moments..." I said as my eyes closed.

~A few hours later~

'Heat!' was my first thought as I started waking up, my eyes fluttered open and I saw I wasn't in my bedroom. There was talk coming from the front room, and then laughter. 'I know that laughter...heh...Gladio took me back to Noct's...of course, he did' I smiled as I looked over beside me and saw he was laying there passed out beside me. I went to get out of bed but he pulled me down into his chest and held onto me. "You're not fit to be moving around right now Y/n..." he mumbled in his sleep as I smiled, "I would like some coffee Gladio...it's freezing out there and I'm still cold...coffee will warm me up...and taste amazing," I told him as he groaned. "You really are Spec's sister..." he yawned as he opened his eyes and looked down at me. "Twin sister," I said as he chuckled, "yeah..." he nodded as the two of us got out of bed, we walked into the front room. "SHE LIVES!" Prompto yelled as Ignis walked up, and then slapped me. "Ow! What the hell!" I exclaimed, "that is for not telling us that your power was out and you were slowly freezing to death...you're my little sister...it's my job to protect you in any way I can..." he pushed his glasses up.

"I'm fine..." I said rubbing the now red cheek, "only because Gladio saved you" he added as Gladio walked into the kitchen "seriously Y/n..." started Noct, "next time that happens...just come over...you don't even need to ask" he finished as I nodded, "now then...I'm gonna go get some coffee..." I walked into the kitchen and saw Gladio drinking some soda, "thank you for risking your life in order to save me..." I told him as he got up and then stood really close to me. "Other than you being okay and alive...what all do I get out of it?" he cocked an eyebrow as I blushed, "what do you want?" I asked as he smiled a little, "it's simple...I'd like a kiss..." he said as my face got even redder. 'Gladio wants a kiss from me?! Your brothers best friend and your crush! Wants you to kiss him!' I cleared my throat, "uh...o-okay" I said as I stood on my tip-toes and gave him a small kiss, he sighed, and then kissed me passionately. I was in shock first but I returned the kiss as my fingers snaked their way through his dark hair. His hands found their resting place on my hips, when we pulled apart for air he placed his forehead against mine.

"Next time this happens...you call your boyfriend...because he'll rush to your side, and take you to his place for warmth...you don't keep it a secret..." he whispered as I smiled, "I don't have a boyfriend Gladio" I stared into his eyes as he smiled, "you're talking to him Y/n..." he spoke as I smiled. Then he gave me another passionate kiss and then walked out of the kitchen, I followed, "where's your coffee?" Prompto asked as Gladio and I sat on the couch beside him, "huh? Oh! Don't need it...I have my own personal heater" I smiled as I cuddled up to Gladio for warmth. "You two are together finally?!" Noct was in shock and Gladio nodded. "Thank the gods! It was so hard to keep it a secret that you liked her from her Gladio" Prompto spoke as Gladio chuckled, "I agree...however I had to keep it from my friend" Ignis cleared his throat as he then looked at Gladio. "Here comes the shovel talk" Gladio then said as I laughed, "you're not getting the 'shovel' talk...whatever that means. I'm not threatening you either. You're my friend and she is my sister. I trust you both enough to make adult decisions...and I trust you to protect her when I can't..." Ignis spoke as Gladio smiled, "of course Spec's" he nodded as he gave me a kiss on my forehead and then I started to fall asleep.
