War begins with a horses wail.

Slaughtered bodies on the ground,

their souls sail around their enemies,

wanting to feel they are not defeated.

The vivid memories of screams keep the skies dark and glum.

The faces of the dead, brighten our minds.

The wives at home keep the torch lit,

as he carries his friend out of the war zone.

But as the room begins to dimm,

My wife sees a war field,

With me screaming in pain, with my best friend in my arms,

Inside her living room with one light bulb and the sunrise rising,

As the new day begins.
