his mother emerged from the hallway with a smile on her face and pulled me into a hug. 

"hi you must be bailey its so nice to meet you" his mother said as we hugged

"its very nice to meet you too!" i replied and she hugged nick and said "haven't been home in forever whats up with that nicky?" 

"sorry ma, working" he replied

"ohh well, come to the kitchen we will get you guys a drink" his mom lead us to the kitchen and nick and i took seats at a breakfast bar.

"what can i get for you sweetie?" she asked politely

"a water is fine" i replied and she handed me a glass with water "thank you"   "nick what about you?" "just a water too ma" once she got him water she continued to cook dinner which i think it was pavarotti which i loveee. "so you guys using protection?" she asked with her back turned towards us and i spit out my water once she said this and my face went bright red. the water i spit out went all over nick and right away i used my sweatshirt to wipe it off of his face and shirt. "im sorry" i mouthed to him. right after his mom asked and as i wiped off his face he yelled "MA!" to which you could here his mom snickering and she turned to face us. "well i want an answer i don't want you getting your nice girlfriend preggo." she pointed the wooden stick she was using for cooking at me and nick. "ma" nick said through gritted teeth and he was red. i placed my hand on his thigh and replied to mrs.mara "yes we are". "glad to hear it" she replied and went back to cooking. 

i pecked nicks lips and then laughed a little, "im sorry about her" he whispered into my ear, "dont worry about it shes your mom" i said and then someone came through the door. in into the kitchen walked nicks father. 

"nicholas!" he said excitedly when he saw nick and he got up to hug him, "and who is this?" he asked looking at me. nick grabbed my hand and pulled me to where his dad was "this is my girlfriend bailey" nick told his father. 

"welcome to the family bailey" and hugged me "its nice to meet you"

"nick why dont you show her around the house?" his mom asked which made him look at me and i shrugged my shoulders. nick then took me around his house and the last room we ended up in was his bedroom. i walked in and i looked around at all of the dance trophy's he had around. 

"your room is so cute" i said sitting in him desk chair

"awe really cute?" nick asked disappointed

"yes cute" i giggled and then went to sit with nick on his bed and he engulfed he in a hug and we laid down in each others arms. 

"im sorry about what my mom asked" he said as we stared at the ceiling

"no dont be, i think its nice shes checking up on us" i laughed a little as i said this

"i love you" nick said and looked down at me

"i love you too nicky" i replied

"nicky?thats what my mom calls me" nick said in a disgusted tone and laughed a little. 

"what its cute!" i looked up at him and peck his jawline

 "just to warn you they are going to ask a lot of questions, my brother chris and sister mia will be coming over as well for dinner."nick told me

"i cant wait to meet them" and we continued to lay there. we must of fell asleep because i woke up to nicks mom and dad standing over us having this conversation

"how cute are they" nicks mom said

"long day of travels must of made them tired" nicks dad replied

"shes a keeper, ive never seen him so happy with a girl" nicks mom said as she wrapped her arm around mr mara

"oh look they are waking up" mr mara said as i opened my eyes a little, tbh it was so awkward to wake up with your boyfriends parents in front of me because i just met them and on top of that nick and i were cuddling. "ohh sorry we didnt mean to wake you" nicks dad said

"no dont worry about it, we didnt even mean to fall asleep anyways." i replied and sat up on the side of the bed removing nicks arms from my waist. "well if your up do you mind helping me with dinner?" mrs mara asked

"i would love too" i said and we walked into the kitchen she had me chop up veggies for a salad while she made a dipping sauce

"so how have things been going between you and nick i know you have been doing a bit of traveling" she asked trying to make a bit of small talk

"honestly we are great were both really happy with where we are. and as for traveling this is our 49th state we have been to, the last is Massachusetts."

"how wonderful, so are you from there?" she asked

"yeah actually we decided our trips to meet the family and take each other to our home towns are the last states we wanted to do to make them special." i said as i chopped up the lettuce

"how sweet, so do you guys have any plans for the future?" she asked and this question kinda took me by surprise.

i fiddled with the salad tongs and then finally said "we are planning on traveling a lot more, we are planning on doing a few combined dance classes because that is somethings nick is very interested in" i kinda avoided the whole future of our relationship because we never really talked about it before which i didnt notice till this conversation. 

"what about you and nick in the future?" dang i was hoping she wouldn't ask

nicks pov:

i woke up from a long nap to find bailey gone which i was a little sad about. i check my phone real quick and then got up and headed to the kitchen but right when i was about to walk in i stopped because i heard my mom talking to bailey. 

"what about you and nick in the future?" my mom asked and i realized that we have never really talked about that before so now i was really interested in her response. 

"well.." bailey started to say "nick and i are really happy right now and we are continuing to build our relationship. i know we are still young but i can picture myself growing old with him, he has such a pure heart and personality and he is one of a kind. i can say i am the happiest right now then i have ever been" bailey said and this made my heart so happy because i felt the same about her

"so you thinking about marriage and possibly kids?" my mom asked again, really hitting her with all the hard questions i thought

"well right now we are young i mean i cant even drink legally yet, but in a few years if things are as good as they are right now i wouldn't want anything more then to marry nick. as for kids" she paused and i was anxious to hear what she was going to say and i leaned up against the wall but i slipped right into the kitchen...
