"There's my little Stanford graduate, I'm so proud of you Lil!" Travis exclaimed.
"Thanks babe, you're the best," I replied.
" I got you a little graduation present!"
"Trav! You shouldn't have!"
"Anything for you baby, go on open it!"
"Omg! It's a necklace, from Malibu Jewelry & Co."
"I want you to wear it to work sweetie!"
"Thank you so much honey!"
He pulled me in for a kiss, he held me tight as we kissed, and still held on after we stopped kissing.
"I love you Lillian Truscott, I won't be able to call you that much longer though, soon you'll be Lillian Hayes."
"I love you too Travis Hayes!" So much!"
Mikey walked over to me.
"4 years of hard work and we're finally here, you have a degree in Finance and I have one in Fine Arts." She said.
"And now we're in the real world." I replied, worried.
"I know it's scary!"
"Hey listen I should say hi to Oliver right?"
"Your call Lilly."
"I gotta go talk to him,it's the right thing to do."
"See you soon Lilly! Good luck!"
"Thanks Miley. Thank you."
I walked over to Oliver. He just looked so happy. So successful. I missed having him as a friend. So much.
"Hey Oliver, it's so good to see you!"
"Yeah it's good to see you too that is actually talking to you and not just seeing you all over my boss"
"I know Oliver, and I'm sorry."
"It's been 3 years, I'm over it."
Oliver started to storm off.
"WELL THANKS FOR COMING!" I yelled.
"My pleasure Lilly my pleasure," he mocked.
I started to walk away only to feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Look Lilly, I'm sorry it's just now you're with Travis and—"
"I know Oliver, but one of these days we had to grow up."
He pulled in for a hug. It wasn't an awkward hug though. I felt so safe in his arms. Part of me thought he should be the one I marry. But I shouldn't get caught up with the past. I love Travis. So much. Even if part of me wants to be Mrs. Oaken. I can't wait to become Mrs, Hayes.
