tomorrow's my birthday. i turn twenty three. i'm officially going to be one year older than you. not that you would care.

it doesn't feel like time has moved since i've been in paris. sure, the days have gone by. but am i really any older? i still feel the same, i still act the same, i still talk the same—although, my french has gotten way better. if only someone from my past still knew me, then they could judge just how much i've really changed.

too bad i left you all behind.
