Wedding Bells

Weddings. 

A day where you have to get up super early and then go to bed super late after watching all the adults get drunk and almost pass out. 

"It's too early for this" Hanna says, walking into the room. 

"Hanna!" I smile. 

"Oh my gosh! That is not my Claire!" Hanna gasps. 

"Well... My name is Claire Emerson...Soooo" I'm cut off by Hanna grabbing me in a hug. 

Hanna is Aspens best friend and basically my second sister. 

She was the maid of honor and I'm the junior maid of honor. 

"Do we really have to give her way?" Hanna pouts. 

"If we lock her in the closet we wont have too" I shrug, pulling away from her. 

"I'm standing right here" Aspen laughs. 

"We know!" Hanna smiles, hugging Aspen. 

Aspen hugs back. 

"I'm getting married!" Aspen shrieks, pulling away. 

"How are you getting married before me?" Hanna laughs. 

"Good question" Aspen laughs. 

"We need to start getting ready" I state, starting my makeup. 

"I need to know what's going on with you Claire!" Hanna says, sitting next to me and starting her makeup "Tell me everything!" 

"She has a boyfriend" Aspen blurts. 

Hanna gasps and looks at me "You're kidding!" 

"Nope. But pretty sure he hates me right now" I sigh. 

"What? Why?" Hanna frowns. 

"Because my Ex- boyfriend kissed me" I explain. 

"Who cares about why he's mad, he's going to realize that he loves you and come back" Aspen states. 

"Tell me more about him" Hanna says. 

So I did, I told her everything. 

And when I was done, I felt like I was going to cry. 

I got into my dress and stood in front of the mirror. 

Aspen walked up behind me. 

"You look amazing!" She smiles. 

"Shouldn't I be saying that to you?" I ask. 

"Nah, because now on your wedding day you'll have to say I look amazing!" Aspen smiles. 

I laugh and turn around. 

"You ready?" I ask. 

"Of course"

"May I have this dance?" Carlos asks, holding his hand out. 

I laugh and take his hand "Of course" 

We go out and start dancing "I'm happy that you don't hate me like you hated your cousin Jessicas husband" 

"Okay, Tommy is a jerk" I state. 

"Am not!" I hear him yell. 

I roll my eyes and mouth a "Yes he is" to Carlos. 

"Your sister is drunk" Carlos nods in her direction. 

"Not my problem anymore, you married her" I laugh. 

"I better go take care of her" Carlos says. 

"I'll step in...if that's okay" I look to my right and see Sam standing there. 

"Of course, I'll leave you two" Carlos steps aside, and goes over to Aspen. 

Sam grabs my hands and we dance for the rest of the song in silence. 

When it changes to a fast song, Sam drags me out to the parking lot and kisses me. 

"I love you" He says, after pulling away "And Jacob told me that it was his fault"

"I love you too...and I'm sorry, I should've saw it coming and-" 

"No" Sam states "It was his fault" 

"So...we're good?" I ask. 

"Of course, I can't stay mad at you" Sam smiles. 

"Dork" I giggle and pull him into another kiss.
