Chapter 5 : Contrite

"The cause of your irregular heat is either there's a compatible pair with you or you already found your mate so your body needs to be pair by that person as soon as possible, if not your heat will continue to be irregular, it will kick in anytime so it is recommended to be pair with a compatible pair, to bite your nape" that was the doctor said to me

I didn't want to be paired by someone yet, not now that i'm still studying

Ah... but its Monday again and i haven't received any mails from Yoongi, maybe i should apologize for what happened last time

My phone suddenly rang

I took out my phone then it was Yoongi, speaking of the devil

Your out is 5pm right? Let's talk, I'm gonna pick you up, at the same place

I picked up my things and stood up, I walked through the hallway as I sip the drink that I bought earlier from the cafeteria

I reached the front gate and saw Yoongi leaning his back on the right side of the car, looking at his watch from time to time and i approached him immediately "Yoongi! did you wait long?" and he noticed me

"hm, not really i just got here 3 mins. ago" he walk on the other side of the car and opened the door "get in" he said and i followed him

"careful, your head" he said covering my head like always because I always bumped my head

"yeah thanks" he closed the door the moment i get in and he also hop in the car

He started the car and drove in, in our way there I'm playing with my fingers, its a little awkward 'cause both of us stayed silent

I'm not used to this since Yoongi always start the conversation and I think he noticed that I'm a bit uncomfortable, so i'm gonna break the silence

"Sorry for the last time" "Sorry for the last time" we both said at the same time and looked at each other but we immediate looked away, that was so awkward to be honest

"okay, you first" he said

"no no, its okay go ahead" I insist

"okay....sorry for the last time, I can't seem to control myself"

"sorry too, I was careless I didn't lock the door properly that's why its my fault that thing happened and also not telling you about my situation and I made you worry, I'm sorry..."

"no, it was my fault I was stubborn and still went to your place even though you already said I can't but I still insist" he said while eyes on the road

"both's at fault then" I said then we both chuckle

"but are you okay now? did you go see your doctor?" He asked

"uh, no need for that i'm just out of medicine, its just a normal heat that's all" i lied again

"is that so..."

"yeah"

"um, can i ask some question? even though i'm already asking"

"oh sure"

"why didn't you let me?" he asked and I froze for a second, why is that? i can't seem to understand if i know what he's saying or not

"hey Jimin, you okay?" he asked and i snapped, I didn't notice I was just staring at a blank

I looked at him "what is it again?"

"I said why didn't you let me, bite you?" and he glanced at me with his deep eyes

"well, because I'm not ready yet about those kind of thing"

"so, you're saying you don't want to be settled yet?" he said seeing him while clenching his jaw lightly, diffusing his anger, as he open his mouth a bit brushing his tongue at the back of his teeth

"n-no its not like that"

"I know omegas undergo heats, the moment they meet their fated person, possibility their heat can go irregular if they don't mate with their partners, am i right?"

well heck, I'm really nervous right now

I looked at him with frustrated eyes "y-yeah why?" I don't have a good feeling about this

"you said earlier your heat is just normal but it wasn't, your heat until we met gone irregular right?" while looking at him, i can no longer understand the words he's saying

"what are you talking about" I said as I looked away from him glances

I can feel his gazes but with disappointed feeling "nothing."

I'm glad he cut the conversation himself, he seemed disappointed but i don't have any choice, if he kept on asking then i don't know anymore

I stayed silent but he spoke up "by the way, Namjoon wants to invite you to their house for a party"

"party?" I asked

"its his birthday, wanna come with me?"

"y-yeah sure, when is it?"

"Friday night, maybe i'll pick you up around 8pm"

"oh, okay got it"

"no prob.... oh we're here" Yoongi said

I was so nervous I didn't notice we already arrived, he parked and I got out of the car "thanks for the ride" I smiled

"no problem, tomorrow again" he said but I scratched the back of my head because he's always giving me ride since the day we met, I-m worried because i might giving him a hard time

"Yoongi, you're always doing this am i not bothering you-" i was cut off by him

"no, you're not, i have so many time so i can do this as much as i want plus i have Namjoon and the others to do my works so its fine" he said, so straight forward

"as i thought" i muttered

"did you say something?" he asked

"no nothing, just.... see you tomorrow" I said

"alright, good night" he said with his gummy smile, finally he smiled

Now I'm hesitating, whether just to tell him the truth, I don't want him to worry

"um Yoongi?" I called out

"yes?"

"I hope we can have the time to talk more about the things and the future" I said

he gave me a half smile "yeah of course, I'm not in a rush let's talk things out sometimes"

and I smiled "thank you, goodnight"

he watched me walk upstairs until I reached my apartment then I waved at him

He waved back and left
