Think again, (Rant #1)

I've spent a lot of my time surrounded by an idea of what comfort felt like.

In reality, I've been surrounded by a fake amount of care that I've gotten used to.

So much so, that I started to realise that I was just living in solitary confinement amongst a crowd.

People act like they care because they don't want to seem like assholes.

Honestly no one cares. Nobody. Not that friend, not this friend, no one.

What does it benefit them to "care" ?

A self assured sense of achievement?

In the end goal we do a lot of what we do because we're selfish. We comfort people because it comforts us.

Nobody does anything out of selflessness. We do a lot of what we do because of selfishness.
