As the shadows creep through the room.
The child on the bed awakens.
Shadows fill the room.
The child sits up frightened by them.
The shadows creep closer in curiosity.
As the child starts to cry,
The shadows stop.
All the shadows become one figure.
The child pulls his covers over his head.
The shadow seeps in.
The child freezes.
The shadow smiles at the scared child.
The child relaxes at the smile.
The shadows smile continues to grow.
A never-ending smile.
The child tries to back away.
He is paralyzed.
Claws grip his arms.
Darkness.
