some people don't like me
because they're intimidated that I'm not
putting on a show
like the rest of the people they know
I guess you can say I'm lucky
to be happy with myself
but I used to be that person
who needed to put on a mask
to hide her feelings
and it was hard to get through it
I lost a lot from it
but I'm still here
wipe the makeup off
take off the mask
end the show
because it's just better to be
free from expectation
instead of remembering all the lines
just do your thing
be yourself
