Taehyung slowly walks towards the green board gracefully located in the middle of the building's main office. Classes might not start yet but this is probably more important than the lessons, the class schedule, the teachers and everything else. What is written on that board is crucial, it determines whether one would have a good year or a miserable time. The board, now in front of him, has the roommate information. By it, he would know who he'd be living with for the next period and it has him going crazy.

Last year, he had been very lucky, sharing with a guy named Park Jimin, with whom he had become great friends. They were on the same year and even though they didn't share the same mejor, sharing the tiny suite assigned for students have been more than enough for a friendship to blossom. Taehyung wished he could share with Jimin again, in fact, the two of them had filed a report for the headmaster. Cordially requesting for them to be partners again. They never received an answer. It was to expect, they knew their report would not make any difference but it didn't hurt to try.

Yesterday Jimin had come to campus to pay for his books and had sadly informed Taehyung that this year he would be sharing with a guy named Nakao Koji, who was an exchange student from Japan. Tae had been really disappointed by the news not to mention that it made him even more anxious as he searched for his name on the lists. The letters almost dizzying his eyes and deceiving his perception. Why do they always make the letters so small? Tae blinks many times before focusing on the list of building E.

There he finally finds his name- which was good- however, right next to it, his roommate's name for the year was really not good. Tae stands still, his eyes becoming wide as he reads the name over and over again. Kim Seokjin. Tae presses his finger against his own name, drawing a line to the one located in front of it as if to make sure he read it right. Kim Seokjin. It has to be a mistake, a misinterpretation, maybe his eyes are tired or something! But no matter how many times he sees it, the same name is always in front of his own.

Tae sighs, admitting defeat and walks away. There's still a week before classes start, so he has around seven days to digest the fact that he will be sharing with the one and only, the beloved, college's sweetheart, Kim Seokjin. How is it that he always ends up in this kind of situations? Is it just bad luck or something else? It's really not that he hates Seokjin, or that he has bad thoughts about him. Fact of the matter is that Tae can't possibly say a lot about him. He doesn't know the guy, or well, he doesn't know a lot more than what everyone else around knows already.

As it turns out that Kim Seokjin is everything every young man would like to be. He's the son of an important executive working at an electronics company. He is majoring on management, naturally and he is an academic prodigy, has been since he started college. His grades never fail to impress, his name is always written on the honor roles, his works are always the ones who get featured in the university newspaper. He is also quite athletic, not exactly Usain Bolt, but many say he hides very defined abs under his shirt. The guy also sings in the choir, his voice is so blessed, he often gets solos and features by himself. He is popular and has a popular group of friends as well. In fact, Seokjin and his two best friends- Min Yoongi and Jung Hoseok- are at the top of the food chain in this place and everyone knows it. But as if that wasn't enough, Seokjin also has the visuals of a freaking model. His face seems to have been sculpted by an artist and his natural beauty is almost impossible to compete with, not to mention how charismatic he is. He smiles and laughs openly, he never looks at anybody with disdain, even when he could totally do so, he is smart and pretty much the face of this university.
