CHAPTER- 44

Oberoi family walked in Mukherjee house. Ishana too landed and regretted knowing her surprise is already revealed and special thanks to Soumya for that. She shared it to Anika without telling her that Ishana's sudden visit to her house on her birthday was surprise for Ishu and Anika's parents and Anika happily disclosed this surprise to her parents planning a party at their house. Ishana although was very happy seeing everyone present to celebrate her special day. As per ritual her mother is cooking kheer for her and like every year Anika has become the helping hand.

It seemed nothing has changed. Her di is still her di first and then daughter-in-law of someone. She missed her Shivay bhaiya. After Anika he was the one to wish Ishana and it felt special. Shivay came to know about this special day just on its previous day and thanked Anika for helping him to mark up his impression over her family. She protested saying he has much better impression as compared to her in her family and he replied the same mentioning about his family.

Ishana kept looking at her mother and sister leaning against the door of their kitchen. Tears cascaded down her eyes knowing she is still the same young naughty daughter of her family who is the most pampered one. Blessings from Oberoi family and their presence made it more special for her. She heard from a common friend that Om is planning something special but she wondered when, because his family and her's has planned an entire day for her. Break time is only for her dress change and make up. She once thought to ask Anika about whether she knows Om's plan, but then declined the idea knowing the teasing procedures of her cute elder sister.

Ishana turned back, Soumya was there looking and fixing decorations. A girl who refused to call them didi on their first meet has become an integral part of their family, from weekly visit to their family to taking care of all the medicines of Mr. Mukherjee has become personal favourite work of Soumya. She has got a family yet again, loosing her own. She walked past Ishana shooting up a smile and entered inside the kitchen to inform something to Anika.

"Ishu let's go, we need to get you prepared for lunch. Come let's go. Maa you keep check at the kheer and I have arranged foods for Ishu in that big plate" Anika held Ishu's hand and led to their room announcing.

"We just want to take along Ishana to our house soon" Jhanvi said stepping inside the kitchen in a polite tone to Mrs. Mukherjee.

"Depends upon the children Jhanvi ji" Mrs. Mukherjee replied smilingly.

"Anika and Shivay just need to talk to them" Jhanvi disclosed her plan further.

"Let's talk to Anika then because..." Mrs. Mukherjee paused leaving a deep sigh.

Anika along with Ishana and Soumya walked in their room. Make up arrangements were ready with a white dress lying over the bed. How Om admired seeing her in white dresses came back flashing her thoughts. She smiled, but then absence of Om left a question inside her heart.

"Didi where is Om?" not deciding to control more, Ishana at last asked taking up her dress.

"He will come soon, you at first get ready and sit for lunch" Anika pushed Ishana inside the washroom to change soon.

"Di, let's inform Om bhaiya that his would-be-girlfriend is getting way too desparate" Soumya chuckled behind.

"Hawww have some shame Choti" Anika made faces.

"Why di? See Oberoi brothers are really romantic. Look at bade bhaiya at least. Ten times he had call since morning and everytime he ate up my head repeating just one sentence that he is regretting being in NY at this time" Soumya is growing an important part to Oberoi family as well.

Anika blushed, she knew why is he calling. After all she said she was missing him in this first function and thus he planned to call every hour to ask how about of his dear wife. Although she least bothered to pick up the call, she was busy in works after all, so Soumya being youngest amongst them became chicken of demand.
