The story we tell ourselves so that we do not feel bad,
The lies we wear as masks because the truth so much hurts.
The puzzles we create in our small minds,
To ensure we never come to the acceptance of the truth about us,
We then accidentally shutter hearts,
As we run away from who we are,
Frail creatures, vulnerable to love,
Pain hinders us from a beautiful life,
But then heart breaks only writes more doubt,
Showing us that love is but an out right lie,
A mental state of looking passionately at a cruel world,
That  will not hesitate to show forth the danger our ignorance in sight,
For risking all that is rational and to fiction, fixing our eyes.
Cause' Aren't We Both Broken?
