Focus (5): Lay all your burdens in the foot of the cross. Tell God the things that are making your heart heavy. Let nothing distract you from spending time with God at this moment. Empty your mind of any thoughts that might distract you. Don't entertain messages and notifications for the next hour or so. Put your mental powers all to the Lord. Claim this promise:

Opening of the soul (5): Only God can and will give true enlightenment of His words. At this moment, ask Him to make your senses (sight and hearing) sensitive to the teachings of the Holy Spirit that you may extract everything there is to know. Ask God to give you a listening heart at this moment to do and follow what He teaches you this hour. Believe that you will receive enlightenment from Him. Claim this promise:
