Bible Reading and Meditation (30):
Read the following passages carefully and meditate on them as you go:

Ephesians 6:15
[15]and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

What does it mean to be "shod"? Why is this piece of the armor delicately placed in the feet? What does the feet do? What does this armour represent?

Consider the following passages:

Matthew 28:19-20
[19]Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
[20]teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Romans 10:14-15
[14]How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
[15]And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

How do these passages relate to the passage in Ephesians? As Christians, what is Jesus trying to teach us through Paul about this piece of the armour? Why is it referred to as, the gospel of peace?

Let God teach you.

Learning in the School of God (10):
Students, let's allow our teacher, God, to guide you and teach you at this moment. What have you learned from the meditation section? Have you applied these teachings in your life? Have you used the boots of the armor as much as you can?

In a day, how many times do you talk about God? In a day, how many people have you shared about Christ and His goodness? In school, how often does the conversation go about Christ instead of schoolwork? How different is this setup at home? Workplace? Hangout?

Let God help you make a commitment today.
