You felt something soft yet harsh beating against the side of your head and cracked your eye open to see a pillow come crashing down onto your face again.
"DAHYUN!"
"SHE'S ALIVE"
She tossed the pillow and ran out of your room with her hands in the air. You shook your head laughing and moved the covers off of you and stretched your back. You walked out of your room following the scent of pancakes that filled your nostrils.
"I MADE FOOD!"
"Did you burn it?"
"Nope!"
Dahyun placed her hands on her hips and stood proudly before you as she looked at the plate on the counter with two perfectly cooked pancakes on them. You did a round of applause for her and she bowed dramatically causing you to laugh.
"I'm gonna make some eggs"
You nodded but then ran off back to your room and over to your luggage. You rummaged through it before finally finding your camera, and polaroid camera. You grabbed your good camera and placed your polaroid on the dresser. You walked back out into the kitchen and held the camera up smiling. You snapped the picture quickly and then examined it with a big smile.

Dahyun finished the eggs and put some on the plate for you and handed you the food.
"Thank you madam"
"Of course your highness"
SHe bowed again and you placed it on the bar and sat down on the stool. She fixed her own plate before taking a seat in front of you. You stabbed your fork into the pancake and placed the bite of food in your mouth. You hummed at the taste and shoveled more of it into your mouth careful not to choke.
"It's really good"
She grinned before grabbing a bottle of syrup and pouring some over her pancakes and offered you a can of whipped cream. You grabbed it from her hand and decorated your pancake with the sweet garnish before taking another bite.
"So. Today I thought we could take a look at the shops around and go to the beach!"
"Sounds fun!"
She clapped her hands, like she did usually when she was happy or excited about something. Taking a bite of eggs you looked out the window to see the calm ocean. The beach wasn't crowded by any means, a few people laying down here and there, a couple kids building sand castles or collecting sea shells.
You smiled and turned back to Dahyun who's hamster cheeks were accentuated by the fact that her cheeks were stuffed full of food. You rolled your eyes playfully before wiping away some syrup that was on the corner of her lip.
"You eat like a child"
She stuck her tongue out crossing her eyes and giggling like. A. C H I L D.
