We arrived at the premier hotel where the Evans family were staying, after a long walk in the freezing winds and Ice cold rains that had hit Belfast during the afternoon. Sarah swiped her key card through the slot on her door and the door swung open. There were two beds in the room, a single bed that clung to the wall on the far side of the room, and a double bed that stood proudly in the centre of the room, directly facing the small TV that sat on a bracket in the wall opposite the double bed. Liam walked over to the single bed on the far side of the wall and laid back on his plump pillows. Sarah removed her handbag from her shoulder and placed it on her double bed. It amused me for a second that Liam, being 6 foot 2 and broad in his shoulders, had to sleep in a small single bed, whilst his mother who was roughly 5foot 4, would lay comfortably across a large double bed.
'Make yourself at home, take a seat' Sarah smiled, sitting on to her bed and adjusting the pillows. 'We won't need to leave for another at least 40 minutes, the arena is just next door!'
